Where will my dog sleep?

We ask that you bring your dog’s bed for familiarity and comfort. All guests sleep together in the kitchen—it’s warm, peaceful, and perfect for snuggly snoozes after a day of adventure.
 

How many walks per day are included in the price?

No two days are the same at Bed & Biscuits. We enjoy early morning strolls, afternoon wanders, and—if suitable—longer days out on the hills. Every walk is tailored to your dog’s needs, and all are included in the price.


Can I meet you before my dog’s stay?

Absolutely. We offer a complimentary two-hour meet-and-greet with me and Sorrell before any booking. It’s a relaxed chance for your dog to explore, sniff around, and settle in with familiar faces before their holiday begins.


What should I pack for my dog?

Please bring their bed, food, bowl, any medications, and a favourite toy or comfort item. We provide fantastic healthy treats, plenty of fun and nonsense, and bundles of love for a cozy Highland holiday.


How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak seasons. With only three guests at a time, spaces fill quickly—and we love having time to plan the perfect stay for your dog.


My dog is nervous or fearful—can they still stay with you?

Absolutely. We’ve never had to turn a dog away. If your dog finds life a little more challenging, we’ll start with a walk and talk, then progress to a meet-and-greet, followed by a trial overnight stay. Only when everyone’s happy do we confirm the booking.


Will I always be charged the Guest Harmony Fee if my dog is intact?

Not at all. The Guest Harmony Fee only applies if another intact male requests a booking over the same dates. If your dog’s stay overlaps with a neutered male or a female guest, there’s no surcharge.


How much is the Guest Harmony Fee?

Please contact us directly, as the fee varies depending on the length of stay. It’s a small addition that supports our commitment to calm, curated care.


Can I check in advance if the Guest Harmony Fee will apply?

Of course. Just drop us a message and we’ll let you know who’s booked in and whether the fee is relevant for your dates.


Is the Guest Harmony Fee about behaviour or breed?

Not at all. Many intact males are wonderfully social. This is simply about managing dynamics and ensuring every guest enjoys a relaxed, luxurious stay.
